Take Time To Relax

Good evening all, firstly apologies for my lack of blogging lately, but I have been preoccupied with the new man in my life.........

Our new Grandson Freddy, born on 2nd July, he's been keeping us very busy!!

Secondly the card I managed to make this morning. I thought I would join in with this weeks challenge over at Less Is More, where the theme is Time. After looking through my stash of stamps I realised I didn't have any clock or time related stamps, so took a different approach with the word.
Here's what I came up with:

The stamps and sentiment are from the Shine Bright and Time To Relax stamp sets from Clearly Besotted which are unfortunately both discontinued, inked with Dew Drop inks, using the colour combo from this weeks challenge over at CAS colours and sketches. Quite a simple card but I'm pleased with the end result, think I'll be using these sets quite often!
Thanks for stopping by, hope you like it!

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Fabulous CAS card. Thanks for sharing with us at MAWTT. Good luck and we would love to see you again- if you can drag yourself away from the handsome new addition to your family! Congratulations. Christine DT x

What a gorgeous and handsome little man! Huge congratulations! Amazed that you could tear yourself away from him long enough to make a card. Great take on our challenge by the way. It's lovely when people get creative with the themes and your sentiment is a wonderful example. That sofa looks so incredibly comfortable so it suits the sentiment perfectly. A fabulous make. Thank you so much for sharing this with us at Less is More.

Congratulations on your new grandson, I can quite understand how blogging would take a back seat to playing with him! And yet, your card is awesome despite the lack of time. I love the use of the colours. Thanks for joining us at CAS Colours & Sketches this week. Liz x
